About me
10+ years building enterprise-scale infrastructure that powers millions of users.
I'm a Staff Engineer and Cloud Architect. My work spans DevOps, platform engineering, cloud architecture, and increasingly, AI/ML infrastructure.
I've architected and operated systems handling 50TB+ daily traffic, built observability platforms ingesting 5TB+ logs per day, and led cloud migrations for enterprises with hundreds of services.
Currently, I'm focused on the intersection of traditional infrastructure and AI — tool-using agents and the platform work they demand: typed tool schemas, capability scoping, sandboxing, and the authorization questions MCP is standardizing. The interesting problem in 2026 isn't what a model knows, it's what it's allowed to do.
Modern practices for reliable, scalable, secure infrastructure
Infrastructure as Code First
- — 100% reproducible infrastructure
- — Version controlled everything
- — Immutable infrastructure patterns
Security by Design
- — Zero-trust architecture
- — Secrets management automation
- — Compliance as code
AI-Augmented Operations
- — Intelligent alerting & anomaly detection
- — Predictive scaling
- — Automated incident response
Cost-Optimized Engineering
- — FinOps best practices
- — Resource right-sizing
- — Spot instance optimization
